Frequently asked questions about the Grand Elysée Hamburg
When can I check in and out?
You can check in at our 5-star hotel in Hamburg from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival. Reserved rooms will be held for you until at least 6.00 pm on the agreed day of arrival. We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 12.00 pm on the day of departure.
When is breakfast served?
From Mondays to Fridays, you can enjoy a delicious and balanced breakfast buffet in the Le Parc restaurant in our hotel between 6.30 am and 11.00 am. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, you can have breakfast there from 7.00 am to 11.00 am.
Where can I park (and charge) my car?
Travel easily by car and make use of our underground car park with 500 parking spaces.
Parking is free of charge up to 30 minutes, after that we charge €3.00 per hour. The daily flat rate is €30.00.
We are equipped with a total of 16 e-charging stations for all common electric cars. The maximum parking time at our e-charging stations is four hours between 8:00 and 20:00. After that, we charge a fee for over-parking of €3.00. The electricity costs are billed via the provider Mentorics. Payment is possible by credit card and PayPal.
How far is the hotel from the airport?
The Grand Elysée Hotel Hamburg is centrally located and yet only 9.2 kilometres from the airport. You can reach us in approx. 20 minutes by taxi.
How do I reach the hotel from the central station and the Dammtor station?
From the central station, take the S-Bahn S2 or S5 to "Dammtor" (approx. 3 min.). The Grand Elysée Hamburg is located directly at the Moorweidenpark and thus directly opposite the Dammtor railway station. You can reach our hotel from here via the street Rothenbaumchaussee in approx. 3 minutes on foot.
