„"There is a serious requirement of improvement in the egg counter of breakfast restaurant. The lady with power glasses appears a disgraceful attitude, always in bad mood, extrememely busy , and have an attitude of ""damn care"". Also, she appears to be over loaded specially during peak hours of breakfast. all the days I had breakfast there had to wait for 15-20 minutes to be served my order.This need should be improved."”

„My first Germany Experience”

„It was my first time in Germany, actually in any EU country. Am very glad and proud about my 5 days stay in Grand Elysee in Hamburg. It was like home when i am so far away. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. While having either my breakfast, lunch or dinner, they would make sure i was okay and would be mindful of my needs. I felt so secure and well taken cared of. Will definitely come back when i have a chance and will likewise recommend to my relatives and friends. Thank you Grand Elysee for a memorable stay at your hotel ”

„A great surprise”

„I was about to reserve a room at a more well known hotel; at a much higher price. My friends in Hamburg suggested the Grand Elysee and I was happy with this decision. The price was significantly better and all the amenities I wanted were there. The swimming pool and spa were important to me. I was very happy as the staff were amazing in their extreme helpfulness and professionalism. Room service fufilled my vegetarian request with wonderfully quick service!”

„Virtually perfect”

„I stayed with GE for one night. Everything went smooth; quick check-in, nice clean room, nice spa (although pool smaller than impression from hotel images), very nice lobby area with live piano and reasonably priced food and beverages. Did not eat breakfast, but had a pot of coffee (Eur 5.50). Buffet looked nice with many options. Only little negative thing was that it was not possible to make coffee in the room. I had a kettle brought up, but it was not possible to get the usual Nescafe sachets (or as has become standard at many hotels; a Nespresso coffee-maker incl. 3-4 coffeee-pods. Level of english in staff was higher than usual in Germany (no problems at all communicating). I rate this hotel 9/10. The 10th star is reserved for a hotel experience that surprises me (positively). At GE, everything is virtually perfectly as expected.”
