„"As usual a nice stay at ""my"" jotel in Hamburg.The internet is ok but the phone connectivity in the reception an bar area is not good..The TV was out of order the first night and for my third stay the zink drain was clogged. I really like staying in your hotel and I think this issues are easy to get fixed before arrival."”

„Grand Elysee”

„I have stayed here more then once. In my opinion, it is the best hotel in Hamburg. I have tried a few other hotels in Hamburg but none came close. Reception is great, friendly and helpfull. The rooms are roomy and nicely decorated. Everything you need is there. Boulevard Cafe is very good. Good service, good cakes. The restaurant are very good, especially Theo's..There was a 'problem' with the the bill for the food and drinks that where put on the room. Reception called me that there was a problem with my credit card. In the end it was resolved, after I called my credit card company. Reception tried to charge the bill to my card during my stay. I expected that this would have at check out. Reception did not get permission to charge my credit card. So they called me. In the end, the reason was that they used the money of the reserve for the room to pay the bill and that created the confusion because I did get no confirmation form my credit card company so I was not sure the payment was done. In the end everything was cleared up but it gave me some stress that was not necessary..Did not use it much, but when I used it, it was very good,.I aksed for ice in our drinks. There was none.”

„Die Wahrheit”

„Facilities are very good and it was a clean hotel. Room size more than adequate. Many choices for food. The spa and sauna facilities are fantastic. However, air flow in the Alcove Room my family of four stayed in was unsatisfactory and we got little sleep during our two night stay. We were told by the maintenance worker than came to service it that he did what he could but in his opinion, the vent and air-conditionin in the room was not adequate for the room and he suggested we open the window in order to get sleep even though it was about 1 Celsius. Upon check out all was good but then our card was charged additional funds which was incorrect. Overall a 5 0r 6 out of a 10 based upon the above. .The bill was ready upon our check-out at 4:15 which was great. However, two problems. First, the bill I was given for 526 Euro's upon check out. That was correct. However, in addition to that charge, I was charged from my credit card ending in 6361 another charge that was on my bank account. I did not sign for any other charge. The additional separate charge was for about $36.40 USD. I don't know what it was for. We borrowed an adapter and left it in the room. There should have been no other charges to the room. We did not take anything out of the refrigerator. Please correct this additional charge. Thank You and respond to this question. Thank You. .Air Conditioning did not work. We were hot and sweat. We called the second day and reported it. Herr Zimmerman came to look at but simply vacuumed out and said the air-conditioning was not satisfactory for the alcove room and suggested we open the window (very cold) at night. He was very polite, but in reality, regardless of whether the air-conditioning unit/vent/flow was too weak for the size of the room, it honestly did not work. I put y hand over the one vent and it was hardly coming out and was not cold at all. Very disappointing. My wife and I and one of our children got very little sleep and were tired doing our pre-planned tour. In short, the air conditioning in das zimmer war sehr schlect. It was a very expensive room not to be able to get a good sleep. ”

„V.A restaurant om a 5-Star hotel should not under any circumstances serve fries from the freezer. I would expect them to be home made. ”
