„Lovely hotel”

„Hotel and check were efficient and lovely but unfortunately the room was kitted out for 2 people and not 4. We had to go and chase extra towels and robes from the maid and then chase extra beds for the other 2 guests. Unfortunately we only ended up with one roll away bed meaning that a tall 12 year old child had to fit in a single bed with an adult. As this just wasn't possible to do and get some sleep, one of the adults ended up sleeping on a very hard and solid settee with no bedding. We had 2 adults and a 2 children aged 12 and 16. After us asking, the hotel provided a roll away bed and towels for the 16 year old but nothing for the 12 year old. The main bed was made up of 2 singles with a large ridge down the middle meaning the 12 year old could not sleep in the middle. One person was left sleeping on a rock solid settee. The maid knocked on the door at 9am even though it was our day for departure”

„I booked a room with a bath, but only got a shower.. I felt the room-service offer - in terms of diversity - was rather limited. Good vegetarian options where for example missing.. Lack of a water fountain in the sauna area is a shame (you don't really want to go out of that area just for a glass of water). Air ventilation system in the 'relaxation room' is very loud, which makes it hard to come to rest in it. Picture on the website suggests a larger pool then the one present. ”

„I didnt like the confusion that happened when i wanted to stay for another night as the hotel informed that I have to pay for the changes of room reservagion that I made before my arrival. Bearing in mind that I booked through booking.come(with no fee for changes). At the end they say ok hou dont have to pay. Plus I didn’t like the attiude of one of the ladies who was working in the reciprion in dealing with my matter. ( her attidue with me was unprofessional , showing that she is annoyed and cannot tolerate me anymore). I really became pissed off of her way in dealing with me. . Stuff in the recepition should deal in a firendly and profeeiosnal way especially with people who are not living in Germany. Breakfast has no variety of food. Egg and ham ,fruits,and bread can be found in any Cafe.. the matter is about vareity of dishes from different cuisines. . The confusion of my bill payemnt ”

„The best”

„This hotel has everything you look for to enjoy a stay in Hamburg. You can walk along the Alster, go on a bike ride, walk downtown and enjoy the city. May good restaurants around including those at the hotel. To surrounding is great, the spa is wonderful and the sitting outside on a sunny day simply beautiful. The best in Hamburg”
