„I stayed at 5th floor and they were renovating rooms on the 6th floor. Lots of noise stemming from the Works that started early morning and lasted all day. Apart from this your hotel and your staff is a superb experience and I always stay there when in Hamburg”

„We had a really pleasant stay. Time to relax and explore the city. Perfect service and surroundings. Great atmosphere. .The pool could be 1 or 2 degrees warmer. There were no free sun beds as we in the spa. But maybe it was a busy period. .I just used the internet in short periods. ”

„"Checking in lasted about 10 minutes - despite existing reservations. The staff at the breakfast restaurant are obviously uneducated. We asked whether a table by the windows could be reserved and was told: ""We don't make reservations here""...in a 5-star hotel!!! Pointing out that a table was already reserved I was taught: ""We only make reservations for very special occasions....."" I felt so unwelcome. Today we were late for breakfast after being late out Saturday night. We arrived 11.15, got a nice table, and as I went to get an omelette made at 11.25 nobody was at the counter. I asked the chief in the restaurant and she friendly said that it was no problem, and that she would call the lady who made the egg dishes. Right after a sour women arrived behind the counter, and I asked whether I could order an omelette. ""Actually you can't, but..."" she answered - obviously most annoyed with the late order. I then replied back, that she shouldn't care. This behaviour has nothing to do with my expectations when deciding to stay at any hotel. The Oyster bar Saturday night was with a staff behaving so stressed, telling us that they had to serve 132 guests and thus would be very busy. It lasted 50 minutes from we arrived, until the main courses were served. The served food was well prepaired and warm as expected. My husband asked, whether it would be possible to order a sole, as he had seen advertised somewhere else in the lobby - and was told: ""in case you want a sole, you have to go somewhere else"".. The staff obviously was very busy - they were literally running around in the restaurant creating an atmosphere as would have been expected in a war zone. It's a shame that such a nice hotel decide to offer this kind of service..As mentioned earlier a very stressed staff who made us feel as load being there..The curtains were rugged. The contact to the loud-speaker in the bathroom was out of function. The inside of the refrigerator was broken. Surprisingly there were no turn-down service at night. Despite asking the room mate the first morning, we only had one - and not as asked for two - set of towels. The sheets on the day were left over for use more days. One of the arm chairs were rather old and worn out..The guy staying at the check out desk couldn't have cared less - no smile, no interest in our stay at all - and he didn't ask whether I wanted to pay in Euro or in DKK. "”

„I have been staying in this hotel already for quite some years whether on business visits or family trips. I have to admit that we always enjoy the stay and friendly service. Unique combination of great service and breakfast and two good restaurants in the hotel. Any minor problems are usually solved very quickly and in friendly spirit.”

„No.Same as previous comment.Very poor and slow service. We did not get what we ordered, we did not get the red wine with the main course but after. The side dishes never came, and it took 45 min before they took our order. To get the bill took 30 min!”
