„We have stayed multiple times over the years with you but no recognition made and details on check-in card were wrong.. Hallways on 4th floor had same dirt all week we visited. Our room had a glass broken and we had to call for additional cleaning. Cleaning lady seemingly upset about having to hoover again - she crashed and banged about in the room while I waited outside with my 2,5 yr old son who was scared by this behaviour. She threw the hoover on the floor outside out door where we stood! I told her off but had no impact - unacceptable for any hotel and inparticular a 5 star. The breakfast area was a mess unless arriving first thing in the morning.. Towels and bathrobes are too old! Beds could also be improved.. We had steak frites last time we stayed and it was excellent. This time the steak had a different cut - like NY striploin and was hard and chewy. It came in rare even as we asked for medium. It was taken out to cook a bit longer but when plates returned they had the same frites as before but now hard and clearly reheeated old. Why not provide fresh frites?. no. a bit outdated. the standard question “how was your stay” is a bit old… as a returning customer could have been a bit more personal bill could be sent by mail a short welcome back would not be wrong….”

„The room was very dusty on surfaces, probably due to the heavy carpets. . Would have appreciated a Google chrome cast solution to be able to stream content. . We ordered a spaghetti bolognese - it had more onions than meat in it. ”

„A fantastic weekend at Elysée ”

„We celebrated my husband’s birthday at your beautiful hotel with an excellent service everywhere we went. Fantastic food and drinks. Very comfortable spacey room. Nice touch with your late check out service. We hope to be back once you introduce “family time” in the Spa area, so everybody can enjoy - also the adults only. Our check out with your very professional receptionist Santiago was a very positive experience. He’s an asset to Grand Elysée Hamburg.. Please make it possible for adults to enjoy your excellent spa without screaming children and parents jumping in the pool, changing the nappy in the pool area and allowing their children in the jacuzzi. We left the pool area and went to the sauna. 20 min later some of the elder children with their parents came to the sauna area as well. I’m sorry if I sound negative, because I think children should have a good time as well. Other hotels have special hours for the families. Then the spa could be used as a spa and not as a water park. I talked with your staff in charge of the spa and she agreed and said there was nothing she could to about it.”

„Dog”

„We have stayed just one night: thank you God! It was the last night: Easter breakfast in the hotel and going home. But we was really disappointed when we heard that dog's not allowed in the restaurant. We have to leave in the room. Or we can buy breakfast in other restaurant...ok we could buy one more breakfast (ordered room with breakfast and dog) we came to other restaurant and dog can be on the floor when we are there....not allowed to sit on my knees or on the chair...my dog is 7kg not 50kg. I was so sad, I just wanted to cry... no even breakfast in the room, Nobody cares about us.... just pay money... Have been living in 2 other hotel in Hamburg, dog get welcomes bag with food, and dog cost just 15 euro. Here it was 25 euro and he is not allowed to go from the room. I m not remember Hamburg or other 2 days before... But Easter I'll never forget in my life. Just because I have stayed in this hotel. . To look that we have a dog....standing with dog in front of desk and he didn't see it! Check in...and then oj ...I have to change the room...you are with dog.... Stupid. . Dust on the shelves . You are working there not me...I'm never coming back . I'm never coming back do its ok. 0. Cold water in the pool and jakuzzi . Slow . No. Not friendly at all...”

„Waiters had no control what to serve and when. For example an order of 'scholle' was served with a cucumber salad without the fish, then the fish, and when that was eaten came the potatoes.”

„Good location and easy to arrive by car”

„Excellent restaurant/bar offers inside the hotel. Consider having more "hands on deck" during breakfast rush hour when it comes to the omelet/eggs queue.”

„Have a treat and enjoy yourself. Good style eventhough it is a bit Old fashioned. Great service where you go! Breakfast is not worthy of a 5 star hotel and 28 EUR . Hotels.com. Spider webs in the room. Difficult to get an overview”

„Nice luxery. I would reccomend you to have 2 things. 1- posibility for borrow a Chromecast or other rent a movie selektion. 1- breakfast buffet. More chefs to cook eggs, it was annoing to wait for a long time for egs and bacon. . No. No. Rent cromecast”
