„A coffee/tea machine in the room. One entrance at the breakfast room(s) and more staff to show tables, and more for cleaning them and service for coffee etc. Or more structure for efficiency. It looked (and it was) very chaotic in the breakfast aerea's”

„VERY disapointing”

„At the rate you charge your hotel should be clean, and able to fix small issuses as a shower head. I often stay in HH at other Hotels, but i dont think im gonna come back to you. Paying Luxury rate, i would expect luxury experience.. Was given wrong information about Breakfast when checking in. I discovered that at Check out. (I was paying for Breakfast, but at check in i was told that i had to pay for it) . Old used earstick`s and parfume carton in a drawer. (Actually discusting). The shower head are broken, i took a shower when i arrived and on way out about one hour after arrival i told it to the front desk, and they would get someone to fix it.. But nothing happened at all. I discovered that i was charged for breakfast, bit was told at check in that i should be buying that seperately. ”

„Perhaps it was the battery in telecommande. I did ask the mini-bar man why we were having problems but he was not much help.. Always frustrating to see empty tables for over 3 hours after being told it is fully booked. We wanted to book a massage.....despite going there twice to ask, and being told someone would phone us, nobody did.”

„Overall an extremely pleasant stay. Mostly because of the amazing Spa amenities and overall cleanliness and service.. Wifi kept dropping / disconnecting especially in the Spa areas.”

„Warm and friendly”

„Friendly staff and clean hotel within easy walking distance of train station, museums, and shopping.. Restaurant staff lack of awareness or indifferance of people just seated waiting for service or lack of follow up requiring us to ask someone for service. . Improve attention to dirty dishes sitting at table and not picked up. We had to ask the host for our waiter, so we could order dessert.”

„Twice as nice as Nice”

„Nice hotel. Nice room. Nice location. Nice breakfast. Nice staff. Nice city. Nice stay.. No. Internet could have been faster. Would have been cool if you could cast/stream from your mobilephone etc directly to the tv in the room. See earlier. A bit crowded. No “stand in line” policy (from guets). May be a culture thing. Nice friendly staff at desk. ”

„Because it's all about people. Best service possible. ”

„The hotel is good. The facilities are good. The location is good. But it's all about people at the end of the day, and not once I had not the best service possible. Coming as early as 8:30 and still the receptionist doing every possible thing to avail a room for me? With a big smile? With a casual chat that felt like welcoming and assuring?! Going to the swimming pool with my 5 years old kid and everyone is helping, smiling, making sure we are happy? I loved the people of GRAND ELYSEE Hamburg more than anything. They made the stay awesome. And by the way: The hotel (as facilities, rooms, etc) is really good. But again, it's all about people. Thanks.”

„Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Very good size room and bathroom. My only recommendations concern room facilities, 1) tea and coffee facilities, 2) ironing board and iron, would be convenient.”

„We had a fuse go in our room and requested it fixed as quickly as possible, as the entire room didn't have lights or electricity. As we were getting ready to leave for an appointment, we were in a bit of a hurry and after waiting 30 minutes, we contacted the reception a second time to request it fixed. The concierge was rather short with us and extremely unhelpful. After an hour, when we had to leave someone finally showed up to fix the fuse. A less than stellar experience. ”
