New manager at the Elysée Hotel AG Hamburg Dr. Jasper Bröker

The Elysée Hotel AG Hamburg – which owns the private five-star Grand Elysée Hotel Hamburg – has had a new manager since the 1st of October 2015: Dr. Jasper Broeker. The business studies graduate and Hamburg resident is responsible for the running of the hotel whilst the operational activities are under the control of the assistant manager, André Vedovelli.
Jasper Broeker brings with him extensive experience gained in the leisure and live entertainment industries. For over ten years, he held managerial positions including with Stage Entertainment, the CTS Eventim Group and Mehr! Entertainment Group. ‘My new role with this top hotel operator has many similarities with live entertainment: a good host lives for their guests. With our outstanding, fully dedicated service, we create emotional experiences and touch people. The Grand Elysée Hamburg is a strong hotel brand with a special philosophy and a close affinity with its guests. My main expertise lies in sales and marketing, and in this the hotel business has always fascinated me’, explains Jasper Broeker. The 41-year-old Münster native also has extensive international experience, management positions having taken him to France, the USA and Asia. He wrote his PhD thesis whilst working at the University of St.Gallen under Prof. Dr. Fredmund Malik.

Along with his wife and their two children, Jasper Broeker lives in west Hamburg. The sailing enthusiast prefers to spend his spare time out on the water.

The new assistant manager of the Grand Elysée, André Vedovelli, already knows this private Hamburg hotel, having completed his hotel managerial training here from 2002 to 2005. After this, the now 35-year-old headed out into the wider world, where he worked for the Kempinski Group in, among other places, Abu Dhabi, Peking and Moscow, and lastly as Executive Assistant Manager in Jordan. In tandem with his work, he completed his studies in hotel management at the Hotel Management Academy in Koblenz.
