„ .Found the hotel to be a bit warm (problem in room 428 air con not cooling), and also while sat outside the Brasserie the staff were often distracted - after dinner we waited too long to pay so stood up and paid indoors..We had to repeatedly try to get staff to come to us - not very attentive. Hard to get the bill, had to stand and leave (paying while standing)..n/a.As mentioned - air con in 428 was mildly cooling, but failed to cool the room. Opening windows (disabling air con) made the room cooler. Other than that all other features of the room were very good.”

„I travel a lot and visit many hotels. Despite the size of your hotel it gives a warm feeling. I have to visit Hamburg several times a year and I will cetainly come back.”

„A very nice up-scale hotel”

„"Everything about the stay at the hotel was first class. Excellent breatfast, a nice and clean room, internet at the hotel working perfectly, etc. Cost of stay was just like it should be i e no ""hidden costs"" or extra charges that I did not know about. The hotel is in effect very close to all of Hamburg since the S and U bahn stations are two stone-throws away. Parking in garage at the hotel easy and cheap (EUR 12 a day). Other guests all very nice. I recommend the hotel very much!.For instance treatment like skin cleansing or massane at the spa would be nice.None"”

„A perfect all-in spot to stay in Hamburg”

„We stay in your hotel since 1995 if we are for business or private in Hamburg. In recent years we stayed 3 nights every 4 weeks. It is for us like a second home. Actually, we think that the word hotel does not apply here. For us it is a small and luxurious village that is fully equipped with all you can think off, and than in Hamburg. Several restaurants, a spa, shops, conference rooms, car rental company, etc., etc. The jovial and friendly service of all your employees, at all levels and in all the different services and that on high quality level but without a fuss. In spite of the size of your hotel, we do not feel lost at an inmens resort, no at all, thanks to the layout and design of your property, restaurants, boulevard, bars and the service of your staff. With our comment we specially want to put your management and all your staff members in the spotlight. Thanks, Johan and Marion.The bar keepers should be pro-active. They do not approach you but you frequently have to draw their attention while they are not busy with other customers.”

„My suggestion is just one: it's not possible to ask credit card for any additional charges blocking the card with an amount of 400 euros, It's not a polite behavior. Since several years visit Hamburg for business staying either at Fairmont or at Grand Elysse without having such experiance ”
