Where can I park and charge my car?
Travel here easily by car and feel free to use our underground parking garage with 500 spaces.
We are equipped with a total of 16 EV charging stations for all common electric cars. Electricity costs are billed via the provider Mentorics. Payment is possible by credit card and PayPal.
With our fully electric chauffeur service, you can also get around our beautiful Hanseatic city in an eco friendly way.
What are the breakfast buffet hours?
From Monday to Friday, you can enjoy a tasty and balanced breakfast buffet between 6:30 am and 11:00 am in the Le Parc restaurant at our hotel. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, breakfast is served there from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
What are the check in and check out times?
You can check in at the Grand Elysée Hotel Hamburg from 2:00 pm on your arrival day. Reserved rooms will be held for you until at least 6:00 pm on the agreed arrival day. On your departure day, please vacate the room by 12:00 noon.
Do you offer an airport or train station shuttle service?
We do not have a shuttle service from the hotel, but our concierge can arrange an individual service for you.
The Grand Elysée Hotel Hamburg is centrally located and only 9.2 kilometers from the airport. You can reach us by taxi in about 20 minutes.
How can I reserve a table at the restaurant?
Please call our reception at +49 (0)40 41 41 2-0 and we will reserve a table for you in one of our restaurants. Alternatively, you can contact our restaurant reservation team at +49 (0)40 41 41 2 828.
Are dogs allowed in the hotel?
Upon request and subject to availability, dogs are very welcome in selected rooms. The additional cleaning fee is 30.00 EUR per night per dog. Upon arrival, we are happy to provide a dog bed and a food bowl. Please note that we can allow a maximum of one dog per room.
Dogs are not allowed in our Le Parc, Piazza Romana, and THEO’S restaurants. However, dogs are welcome in the following venues: Brasserie Flum, Boulevard Café, and Bourbon Street Bar.
How much does a taxi ride from the airport to the hotel cost?
Hamburg Airport is only 9.2 kilometers from our hotel in the city center. If you take a taxi from the airport, you should plan for around 30 euros in fare.
How do I get to the Grand Elysée Hamburg from the main station or Dammtor station?
From Hamburg Central Station, take the S Bahn S2 or S5 to “Dammtor” (about 3 minutes). The Grand Elysée Hamburg is located directly by Moorweidenpark, opposite Dammtor station. From there, you can reach the hotel via Rothenbaumchaussee in about a 3 minute walk.
Where can I rent a car?
You can easily book a car for your stay in Hamburg directly at the Grand Elysée with our partner AVIS car rental.
Is it possible to use the spa area as a non hotel guest?
The Elyseum Wellness and Spa, the spa area of the Grand Elysée Hotel Hamburg, is also open to you as a day spa guest with its wide range of offerings. Enjoy a relaxing day with us in the heart of Hamburg.
Which currency do I need?
In Germany, you need the euro. You can easily exchange money at exchange counters at the train station or the airport.
Where can I exchange money?
We are happy to exchange money for you at our hotel reception to a limited extent. If you wish to exchange larger amounts, we recommend the nearby Reisebank at Dammtor station, which is only a 3 minute walk from the Grand Elysée Hotel.
